The numbers don’t tell the real story when tuning an normally aspirated car, how and where the power is delivered and how this changes the driving characteristics of this engine is what you will really notice. All our customers who have tuned there 3.2 V6 appreciate how much better the car is to driver after.
- REVO Stage 2 Software upto 270 ps and 370 Nm of torque.
- Performance Induction kit from Forge
- Exhaust system from catalyst back
- Hi Flow sports cat
- Hi flow downpipes
- Vehicle needs to be well maintained and clutch needs to be in good condition.
- NOTE: Power is dependant on Fuel Quality, Performance Settings and Conditions.
We recommend some chassis tuning to take full advantage of this great car, we see good results with Powerflex bushes and some suspension tuning, there are many options to suit all budgets. We recommend some better brakes replacing the factory pads and disks with some good aftermarket performance options can be a good way to go, sometimes working out cheaper than replacing the brakes with stock parts.
Our package combines the optimisation of engine management system with the cat back sports exhaust but in addition to this uses a Milltek hi flow cat and free flow downpipes. Estimated gain of upto 280bhp are possible because the free flowing exhaust system allows the 3.2 V6 engine to breath more easily making it even more efficient. Good gains are felt in the mid range.
Stage 2 Performance Software has been specifically developed to attain the best possible performance from the 3.2 with a bolt on performance exhaust and cold air intake. Stage 2 allows you to run a sports cat or de-cat without the CEL (Check Engine Light) being triggered by a ‘CAT Efficiency’ error code. Stage 2 software is Throttle, Fuelling and Timing adjustable with slightly more flexibility than Stage 1 allowing the vehicle to be setup to suit the fuel quality, driving conditions and driver preferences. Stage2 typically gives great gains throughout the mid range.
